All our prices are in UK pounds sterling and includes VAT of 20% on all items excluding printed materials such as books and maps.
Registering: You will need to register the first time that you order. This process will allow you to retain your shipping details. Please note that your Invoice address refers to the registered address of the card which you use for the order without which we will not be able to process your order. Your registered details will not be made available to third parties
Delivery Address: This is the address where we will send the goods to. Please include a note if you would like the delivery to be left in a safe place. Lakes Climber and Runner cannot be held liable for any missing items and will follow the guide lines set out by its delivery agent. For more information please see Postage Terms and Conditions.
Making a purchase: We use a standard “basket” style retail platform which allows you to select, edit and purchase items from Lakes Climber & Runner. We use a third party payment company to process payments securely. We will always send a confirmation email to you, confirming your order details.
Out of stock items: Our website is set to only allow orders for items we have in stock – There may be a few instances where an item is shown in stock which is not in the shop. This may be due to a number of factors. We will however contact you to see what the most appropriate solution would be.
We will either refund the product. (There may be a transfer period between us refunding the transaction and it being transferred into your account) Alternatively we will hold your order on file until the item comes back into stock.
Sale Items: Sale items can be returned within 21 days from purchase for a refund or exchange. All shoes will be posted without the card bord boxes.
Payment: We accept most credit and debit cards via Sage Pay, or Pay Pal Transactions are charged at the rate that is stated online at the time of purchase.
We cannot accept cheques for mail order items.
Errors on Website: While every effort is made to maintain the information on this website as accurately as possible, mistakes can and do occasionally happen.
If we have mis-priced a product we will inform you and give you the option to either cancel or proceed with the order with amended terms. We consider a mis-priced item to be greater than 15% of RRP and is not shown as a sale item.
If information about a product is substantially incorrect we will refund the product if you return it to us, and also the cost of returning it to us, but we cannot accept liability for any further costs that may be associated with that mis-information.
Although we do intend to keep images as true to the product as possible, we cannot always assure that the product matches the website image. Unfortunately this may be small cosmetic changes that do not directly affect the function of the product e.g. A change in packaging or a minor cosmetic change on the product.
