The Mudclaw 333 is an updated version of the 330 with a new sticky rubber sole.
When the Mudclaw 330 '0' first arrived on the scene people where amazed at the depth and aggressiveness of the stud pattern. Here at last was something to challenge the dominance of the Walsh pyramide outsole. Inov-8 have tried to design a shoe that will last up to the riguers of everyday training on the fells. This includes a full protective toe rand along with the use of there endurance rubber compound (as opposed to the Mudclaw 270 that uses the sticky rubber). Descending quickly on wet grass and Mudclaw stud is simply the best. Now with Sticky Rubber the 333 performs on wet rock just like the X-Talon and new Mudroc 290. The shoe, although still supportive, is definately broader than a Walsh so is a great choice for people who are too wide to fit a narrower lasted shoe. Because of its durability and levels of grip it makes a perfect training shoe, although feels a tad heavy when compared to an X-talon for racing in.
